Winchester Mystery House

The Winchester Mystery house is an interesting story. Sarah Winchester was married to a man who owned a company who made weapons, or at least guns. When her husband died she went to a medium who told her to move out west and build a house, and never stop building onto it.

It was Sarahs belief that if she were to stop building the ghosts of the people killed by her husbands weapons would kill her. Which also explains why this seven story 75$ home had doors that lead to nowhere. Staircases that lead only to the ceiling(no trap doors or attics at the top). Also, windows that didn't leave the house, but simply show into another room.

The house is only 4 stories now. An earthquake pretty much ruined it. :/
